Howdy! It is officially the best time of year: Halloween! I love it when all of my social feeds get flooded with awesome spooky content.So what’s going on with me? Well, a few things.
Patreon Adventures
Yes. I still have a Patreon. If you have a mighty need for more stupefying fiction, that is the place to be! Every month I share brand new fiction with my $3+ patrons. I also post weekly writing prompts and behind the scenes pictures. There are also monthly story extras. There’s even a tier for those who would like a monthly postcard from me with little limericks and notes. Becoming a Patron helps to keep a fire burning under my butt and keep me producing and improving. There’s nothing like a paying audience to keep me accountable.And, once I hit 15 patrons, I will add a new perk. I will do a monthly audio recording of me reading the monthly fiction. So, if you want some awesome audio fiction this is how to make sure that happens.
NaNoWriMo Is Coming!
Tomorrow begins yet another November. November being the month of NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). You’re supposed to start a new novel for NaNoWriMo, but I’m going the rebel route and just continuing work on my current projects. I already have enough going on. So, I will be finishing my current short story about the Hell-adjacent criminal underground, then jumping back into my haunted art studio novel.
The Newsletter of DOOM!
The biggest thing would be my newsletter! Once a month I will send out an email to the lucky folks who sign up, giving them the inside information about what is going on with my writing adventures. I may sneak in previews of stories I’m working on that you won’t see anywhere else. (Until someone publishes them, that is.). Plus, when you sign up you get a free short story: Colossus Rising. In it, Sheriff Russ must solve the mystery of who murdered a handful of fungus people living in the post-apocalypse wilderness town of Bellingham. And that’s all for today.
