What?
Dark Forest Press is my own brand which I do all my professional publishing services under. I offer book formatting, cover design, editing, and webmaster services at affordable rates. Not cheap, but affordable and of high quality.
Why?
Well, because there is a need for it in the writing community. With the massive rise in self-publishing there are a ton of covers and books out there that just do not perform well for one reason or another. This is due to authors, trying to cut costs, taking on these tasks on their own even if they do not have the necessary experience to do so, or employing ultra-budget providers who produce substandard results.
Why me?
Well, I’ve been tinkering with my own cover designs for years and I’ve seen and studied a ton of what works and especially what doesn’t work. I specialize in speculative fiction mostly. I’m also comfortable in general fiction but am always up for something new. Just ask to see if I’d be up for it.
